It's been a long journey now just over two years ago I embarked on a personal mission to learn all about web design, little did I know about the industry and what it would really take to achieve my goals. I started January 2007 and began with simple coding (html), after begining to learn this I quickly realised that there where many more web languages that I needed to learn to be a web designer. So then came cascading style sheets also known to designers as css, this web language as it suggests in the title styles web pages, Its an amazing tool with all considered.


Upon learning the css I realised that I needed to use beautifull and attractive images to make the web pages sparkle and come to life, so then my skills in photoshop, fireworks were fine tuned.


My web design mission is still not complete although I have learn't many more web technologies on the way including; mysql, php, xml, dreamweaver and flash there is a fair way to go. I embark on university next year to achieve a honours degree in computer science, my journey continues....
